
The world of the major merchant families from the 16th century comes to life again in the Museum Tucher Mansion.
Every Sunday, an actress playing the role of "Katharina Tucher", the former mistress of the house, will guide you through her mansion which was completed in 1544. You will be able to see valuable furniture, tapestries, paintings and fine arts and crafts products.
"Katharina Tucher" also has exciting things to tell about the Hirsvogel Hall in the idyllic gardens which was originally built in 1534. With richly decorated wood panelling by Peter Flötner and the famous ceiling painting by Dürer's pupil, Georg Pencz, it is one of Germany's most beautiful Renaissance interiors.
