An audio tour available in German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Czech, Polish and Japanese introduces adult visitors to the Toy Museum's treasures in an informative and entertaining manner. By entering the numbers attached to the various display cases on the handy audio guide's well-organised display, visitors can call up the audio statements. An overall number of 48 stations with a total length of about 120 minutes (for just 1 Euro) provide museum visitors with interesting information, amusing titbits, and sometimes food for thought on the world of toys and playing of past years.
A special audio tour for children in German and English (30 stations, overall length of about 70 minutes, price: 1 Euro), has teddy bear Emma and little Lukas exploring the museum. Emma shows Lukas the toys and games former generations had fun with. At many of the stations, Lukas discovers links to his own favourite toys or asks questions if he doesn't understand some things at all. A lively audio experience for clever children!
The audio tour was developed with the support of the Associations of Friends of the Toy Museum and the State Department for Non-State Museums.
